Schalke-Dribbler Amine Harit konnte nach dem Abpfiff des irren Revierderbys gegen Borussia Dortmund (4:4) lachen. „Ich denke, dass ich beim nächsten Spiel gegen Köln wieder dabei bin“, so der 20-Jährige, der nach einem Tritt von Gonzalo Castro große Schmerzen in der rechten Wade hatte. Für S04-Sportvorstand Christian Heidel war die gelbe Karte für Castro zu wenig: „Da kann man nicht Rot zeigen, da muss man Rot zeigen.“
Harit biss auf die Zähne, kehrte nach mehrminütiger Behandlung auf den Platz zurück. „Ich konnte nicht mehr viel rennen, aber ich habe es als wichtig empfunden, bei meiner Mannschaft auf dem Platz zu sein“, so Harit. Schalke hat zum Zeitpunkt seiner Verletzung schon sein Wechselkontingent ausgeschöpft.
Sonderlob von Trainer Tedesco
Von Trainer Domenico Tedesco bekam der tapfere Harit, der auch den Platzverweis für Dortmunds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gelb-Rot) herausholte, ein fettes Sonderlob: "Kompliment an Amine. Er hat uns enorm weitergeholfen." Teamkollege Daniel Caligiuri: "Amine konnte kaum noch laufen. Er hat für uns alles rausgehauen."
